Virginia K. Schwab, 82, of Monessen, formerly of West Newton, died on Friday March 11, 2011 in Hallsworth House III, Monessen.She was born in West Newton on February 26, 1929, the daughter of the late Samuel and Anna (Gaut Miller) McMinn. Mrs. Schwab was a resident of West Newton most all her life, and was a 1947 graduate of West Newton High School. Virginia worked as the site monitor for the West Newton Senior Center for 30 years.He is survived by her daughter, Diane "Dee" Keffel of Monessen, a son and daughter-in-law, John and Marlene Schwab of Lebanon, OH, a brother and sister-in-law, Samuel and Kay McMinn of West Newton, four sisters, Patricia Panizzi of Levittown, PA, Joanne Hesson of West Newton, Margaret "Meg" Dedo of West Newton, Marlene Cook and husband Robert of Belle Vernon, three grandchildren, Jason Keffel, Zachary Schwab and wife Lisa, Maggie Gunnerson and husband Kory, two great grandsons, Jonah Schwab and Gaven Gunnerson, and by numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John and James McMinn, and by two sisters, Laura Caruso and Bertha Smith.Friends will be received in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen (724-684-8750), on Sunday March 13th from 12 noon to 3:00 pm, the time of service, with Fr.
