Tilda G. (Pantoni) Reda, 80, of Monessen, died Sunday, August 24, 2008 in the Residence on Fifth, Pittsburgh.She was born in Donora on February 24, 1928, the daughter of the late Francesco and Ginevra (Zappacosta) Pantoni. Mrs. Reda grew up in Donora, and was a 1946 graduate of Donora High School. She moved to Monessen after marrying her late husband, Sam L. Reda. Mrs. Reda worked for 21 years in the cutting room at the former Charland Sportswear in Speers. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church and the former St. Cajetan Rosary Altar Society. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Marsha Reda of Winter Garden, FL, two grandsons, Samuel C. Reda and wife Connie, James A. Reda and wife Samantha, all of Lewis Center, OH, a step granddaughter, Debbie Burris of Lancaster, OH, Great grandchildren, Danah, Dylan, and Lindsay Reda, Step great grandchildren, Christopher Burris, Elizabeth, Whitney, and Brandon Bice, and by numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death her second mother Rosaria (Napa) Pantoni, three brothers, infant Gabriel, Anthony, and Albert Pantoni, and a sister Phyl Blangger.Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Wednesday August 27, 2008, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R.
