Thomas J. Fallon, 74, of McKeesport, formerly of Monessen, died unexpectedly on Friday, July 10, 2009 at his residence. He was born in N. Charleroi on April 24, 1935, the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Coyne Fallon. He grew up in Monessen and was a 1953 graduate of Monessen High School. He received his bachelors degree in education from St. Vincent College, and his masters and doctorate in psychology from California State College and Indiana State College. He attended Auberle Church in McKeesport, and was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 4210, McKeesport Elks, and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. He was a retired teacher, having taught at McKeesport High School and Woodland Hills High School.He is survived by his wife, Lois Kostelansky Fallon, a brother and sister-in-law, Leo J. and Pat Fallon of The Villages, FL, a sister-in-law, Lorraine Johnson of Daisytown, a brother-in-law, David J. Kostelansky and his wife Jean of Chicago, IL, and by several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Rita Czina and brother-in-law Dale R. Johnson.Friends will be received at the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750), on Tuesday from 10:00 am to 12 noon, time of the service, with Fr. James Bump officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Connellsville, PA.
