Stella Z. Imbrescia, 90, formerly of Monessen, died Saturday, May 23, 2009 in Westmoreland Manor.She was born in Monessen on May 8, 1919, the daughter of the late John and Anna Lada Zajac. Mrs. Imbrescia was a 1937 graduate of Monessen High School and a resident of Monessen most all her life. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church and the former St. Cajetan R. C. Church Rosary Altar Society and Christian Mothers. She retired from Monessen Radio and Television, where she was employed as a sales clerk for many years.She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Francis and Donna Imbrescia of Aiken, SC, Thomas J. and Anita Imbrescia of Sewickley Twp., four grandchildren, Eric Imbrescia of Harrisonburg, VA, Alyssa Mack and husband David of Reading, PA, Justin and Nathan Imbrescia of Sewickley Twp., a great-grandson, Ryder Mack, and by numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Albert N. Imbrescia in 1969, four sisters, Bertha Kozik, Violet Zajac, Jessie Krasnicki, and Mary Zajac, and by two brothers, Caesar and Zigmund Zajac.Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Wednesday May 27, 2009, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R.
