Sandra Y. Troilo, 77, of Monessen, died unexpectedly on Monday, February 4, 2013 at her residence.She was born in Carlisle, PA on August 6, 1935, the daughter of the late John R. Miller and the late Miriam Howe Savarino. Sandy was a lifelong resident of Monessen, a 1953 graduate of Monessen High School, and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. She had owned and operated Sandy's Dairy Bar in Monessen and later worked at the former Shop and Save in Monessen and Mellon Bank in Donora.She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert P. (Barbara) Troilo and Michael J. Troilo, all of Monessen, two sisters, Bernadette (George) Soltis of Greensburg, Rosalie (James) Ashbaugh of North Huntingdon, five grandchildren, Christopher, Justin, Brittni, Kayli, and Linzi Troilo, and by several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father Samuel Savarino, her husband Robert L. Troilo, a son Nick R. Troilo, a sister Phyllis Diesen, and by a brother John Miller.Friends will be received in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave. Monessen, on Wednesday Feb. 6, 2013 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Services will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2013, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church.
