Rosemary Ferrara, 93, of Monessen, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at home, with her loving family by her side. She was born on August 16, 1929 in Donora, the daughter of the late Frank and Maria "Mary" (Piscatelli) Perry. She was a member of Epiphany of our Lord Church, the church choir and Epiphany Ladies. She spent many years working with her husband at Bart's Tire and Auto helping as a business secretary taking care of all of the office work. She loved baking, cooking, crocheting, ceramics and was an avid shopper. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson. She was the glue that held her whole family together and will be greatly missed by everyone. Surviving are her, son, Bart (Dianna) Ferrara; granddaughter, Brianna (Sean) Holmes; two grandsons, Bartolomeo Ferrara, Stephen (Megan Goulding) Jarabeck; great-grandson, Enrico Holmes all of Monessen; nieces and nephews, Francis (Beth) Perry, Eugene Perry, Paul Perry, John (Debbie) Verbich, Anna Marie (Jack) Purcell, Alexis "Lexie" (Bruce) Stevens; great nieces and nephews, Ashlyn (Connor) Kettles and Bryan Stevens, Johnna Purcell, Adrienne (Joseph) Stillwagon, Alex (Heather) Verbich, Lance Perry, Karen (Inigo Intxausti) Perry and their children Alaia and Owen Intxausti Perry; and other great nieces, nephews and family members. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years Barto A. Ferrara; three brothers, Antonio (Banj), Eugene "Jake", Louis Perry, sister, Carolyn Verbich, infant sister, Frances Rose Perry. Friends will be received on Thursday October 20, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will be held on Friday October 21, 2022 beginning with a Blessing service at 9:30 am, followed by a funeral mass at 10 am at the Epiphany of our Lord Church with Fr. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Entombment will follow in Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Monessen Public Library 326 Donner Ave, Monessen, PA 15062. Epiphany Ladies will conduct their service at 2:30 pm on Thursday in the funeral home.
