Robert A. Zyski, 80, of Carroll Twp. died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 in his residence.He was born in Monessen on September 12, 1930, the son of the late Anthony and Veronica (Gableski) Zyski.He grew up in Monessen and attended Monessen schools. Mr. Zyski was a retired maintenance supervisor from Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc. He had served with the U.S. Army and Army Reserves from 1951 to 1959. Bob enjoyed his hobbies of making cypress wood clocks and doing paintings.He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Barbara (Grounds) Zyski of Carroll Twp., a daughter and several grandchildren, a stepson, Phillip "Randy" Vignoli of Carroll Twp., two sisters, Helen Dinns and Phyllis Kowalski, both of Monessen, and by several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Sophie Bergamasco, Ester Witmer, Dorene M. Roberts, and by two brothers, Stanley and Alex Zyski.Friends will be received on Thursday October 7th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2010 at10:00 am in the funeral home with Rev.
