Robert A. "Robbie" Calderone

Robert "Robbie" Calderone, 36, of Monessen, passed away on Wednesday April 13, 2022 at his home following an illness of several months. He was born in Carroll Twp. on June 27, 1985. Robbie was an avid sports fan having enjoyed fishing and watching football and basketball games. He played soccer in the Monessen Youth Soccer League and on the travel team. Robbie also played baseball in the Pony, Colt, Bronco Leagues and for the Monessen Greyhound's in high school, graduating in 2003. He is survived by his mother Michelle Lorenz of Rostraver Twp., his father Ronald Calderone, his children Ryder and Aliyah Calderone of Charleroi, sister Ashley Matthews and her son Tristin Yuille of Rostraver Twp., an uncle Richard Matthews of N. Charleroi, and by a step grandfather Edward Stanley of Rostraver Twp. Robbie was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Rita Stanley and maternal grandfather, Robert Matthews. Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Deacon Al Poroda officiating. He will be laid to rest in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
