Paul A. "PJ" Jones Sr., 65, of Monessen, died Monday June 27, 2016 at his home. He was born on November 7, 1950 in North Charleroi, the son of the late Paul and Emma (Waxman) Jones. "P J" was a life long resident of Monessen, a 1968 graduate of Monessen High School, and received his bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from California State College. He had worked numerous jobs during his life and most recently as a taxi driver for Tri County Access. In addition to his family, his next greatest love was sports. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kathy (Pollack) Jones, son, Paul A. (Sara) Jones Jr., three daughters, Tabitha (Richard) Grogan, Melissa Jones, Shannon (Michael) Tajc; step brother, Jeff Woods; eleven grandchildren, Riley and Lucas Jones, Daija, Rhianna, Chloe, and Gianna Grogan; Madison Mullis, Kenzie Brooks; Bryson Brock; and Rocco and Michael Tajc. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step mother, Mildred (Chulig) Jones. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and 5:00 to 7:00 pm, time of the service, with Pastor Jeff Marton officiating, in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen.
