Patricia Denise (Manko) Talaga, 55, of Donora, died Sunday, December 6, 2015 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born in New Eagle on April 16, 1960, the daughter of Joseph N. and Barbara A. (Kapty) Manko. Patty was a 1978 graduate of Mon. Valley Catholic High School and received her associates degree in Medical Transcription from Douglas Education Center. She was employed by Crystalline Technologies in Monessen. Patty enjoyed sewing, cooking, doing crafts, and baking. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Paul E. Talaga, a daughter, Megan Joyce Amati, a grandson, Nico Mull, a brother, Eric (Laura) Manko, her father-in-law, Alexander Talaga, and by aunts, uncles, and cousins. Patty was preceded in death by three infant brothers, her maternal grandparents, John and Helen Kapty, and her paternal grandparents, Joseph and Pauline Manko. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave. Monessen. Services will be held on Friday ,beginning with a 9:15 am prayer in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Valley Church, Donora.
