Nancy A. Gigliotti, 67, of Monessen, died Thursday, September 11, 2008 in Banner Desert Medical Center, Mesa, AZ, following a courageous three year battle with ovarian cancer.She was born in Monongahela on July 14, 1941, the daughter of the late John Metzger and Ruth Lape Metzger McCleary. Nancy was a life long resident of Monessen, a 1959 graduate of Monessen High School, and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. She was employed as a secretary for Dominion Peoples, Westinghouse Astro Nuclear Laboratory, and the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit.She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Louis J. Gigliotti, her son Jason Gigliotti of Scottsdale, AZ, her daughter Jenine Gigliotti of Scottsdale, AZ, a sister Elizabeth Fisher of Belle Vernon, a sister-in-law Cathy Carroto and husband Greg of Monessen, an aunt Dorothy Chamberlain of Uniontown, and by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father, Paul McCleary, and a brother Jack Metzger.
