Mildred Rapsack, 89, of Monessen, died Saturday, July 21, 2007 in Hallsworth House III.She was born in Ella Hollow, Forward Twp., on October 25, 1917, the daughter of the late John and Rosalie Resatar Verbinsky.Mrs. Rapsack was a life long resident of Monessen and a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Daniel Lubrani of Cooksville, MD, a sister, Agnes Werbin of Rocky River, Ohio, three grandchildren, David Lubrani of Baltimore, MD, Danna Kauffman and husband Brad of Annapolis, MD, Alisa Meyers and husband Jeff of Hanover, PA, four great grandchildren, John and Smantha Kauffman, Grant and Camryn Meyers, two sisters-in-law, Helen Francia and Dorothy Verin, both of Monessen, and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Rapsack in 1993, two sisters, Ann Tatshl and Mary Verbinsky, a brother Steve Verin, and niece Ruth Darlene Verin-Dollan.Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home, Inc. 441 Reed Avenue Monessen,(724-684-8750).Services will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2007, beginning with a 10:00 AM Blessing in the funeral home, followed by 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church with Msgr. Andrew D. Parvensky officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery with Deacon John M. Hanchin officiating. On Tuesday, a Parish Rosary will be recited at 2:00 PM, and Services for the Dead will be held at 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
