Michael S. Kelemen III, 83, of Rostraver Twp., passed away on Monday Dec. 28, 2020 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc. He was born on May 26, 1937 in Monessen, the son of the late Michael S. and Veronica (Teska) Kelemen. After graduating from Monessen High School in 1955, he served in the U.S. Army for 2 years. After returning, he worked at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. in Monessen until the mill closed. He then had several millwright positions until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of The Church of St. Anne in Rostraver Twp. Mike, otherwise known as "Mickey" by his close friends, was a kind, gentle, soft-spoken man who loved his family over everything else. He would tell you that his pride and joy was the love of his late wife, Alva (Rudolph) Kelemen, whom he married on June 6, 1964, along with his 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Anyone who knew Mike would tell you that he was a hard worker who took pride in all that he did. He had the best advice, kind words for everyone, and would always have a joke ready to make you laugh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Alva in 2012. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Debbie (Frank) Berarducci of West Newton, son Michael P. (Tara) Kelemen of Donora, daughter Michele L. (Keith) Conte of Rostraver Twp.; six grandchildren, Domenick, Franki, and Jessi Berarducci, Jordan Kelemen, Ashley and Alaina Conte; a brother, Robert Kelemen of Rostraver Twp.; his kitty, and numerous relatives and friends.
