Mary Margaret "Peggy" (King) Tutena

Mary Margaret "Peggy" (King) Tutena, formerly of Monessen, died Saturday Oct. 3, 2020 in Vincentian Marian Manor, Greentree. She was born on November 1, 1923 in Monessen, the daughter of the late Joseph King and Margaret (Young) King Venneri. Mrs. Tutena was a Monessen resident most of her life and a graduate of Monessen High School. She graduated from Robert Morris School of Business and had worked as a Secretary for the former Pittsburgh Steel Company in Monessen and Gulf Oil Corporation in Pittsburgh. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her two daughters, Sandra L. (David) Vandevort of Oakdale, Joan L. Vidale and husband Robert Henninger of Mt. Lebanon; three grandsons, Scott (Mandy) Senko of New York, Michael (Dana) Vidale of Pittsburgh, Jonathan (Melissa) Senko of Emsworth; five great grandchildren, Alexandra, Sidney, and Brady Senko, Nico and Treviana Vidale, Miles Senko; a niece Kathy (Jack) Placchi of Golden, CO; two nephews Tim Grable of San Francisco, CA, and Kevin (Annette) Grable of Studio City, CA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John J. Tutena in 2012, step father Octavius "Oates" Venneri, and by a sister Joan P. Grable. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 5 pm to 7 pm in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will be held on Wednesday beginning with a Blessing in the funeral home at 9:30 am, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church 44 Pennsylvania Blvd. Monessen, with Rev. Joel Boco as celebrant. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen. Everyone attending the viewing and funeral services are required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
