Mary Stanisz Todaro, 92, of Monessen, died Friday, July 19, 2013 in Residence at Hilltop.She was born in Monessen on February 17, 1921, the daughter of the late Frank Stanisz and Catharina Zima Stanisz. Mrs. Todaro was a lifelong resident of Monessen, and had worked at the family business, and former Monessen Radio and Television, for many years. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church and Court 776, Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Gerry and David Minna of Dallas, TX, Joanne Todaro of Atlanta, GA, a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Doreen Todaro of Monessen, a brother, Paul Stanisz of Monessen, a sister-in-law, Mae Stanisz of Beallsville, three grandchildren, Penny (Henry) York, David G. (Kim) Minna, Joanna (John) Rubalcaba, two great-grandsons, Andrew York and Jack Rubalcaba, and by numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Anthony R. "Slaunce" Todaro, two brothers Austin and John Stanisz, and a sister Helen Pehote.Friends will be received in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave. Monessen, on Sunday July 21, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Services will be held on Monday, July 22, 2013, beginning with a 12 noon Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 12:30 pm Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church. Entombment will follow in Mon. Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum, Donora. The Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court 776 will conduct a prayer service on Sunday at 2:00 pm in the funeral home.
