Mary V. Polinchak, 94, of California, formerly of Charleroi, died Saturday, February 16, 2008 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center.She was born in Greensburg on September 21, 1913, the daughter of the late Luigi and Amelia (Annie) Rich Romasco.Prior to living in California, Mrs. Polinchak was a resident of Monessen and Charleroi, and a member of Mary Mother of the Church in Charleroi.She is survived by three sons, Paul Capozza of Belle Vernon, Lewis Capozza of Dunlevy, Robert Suomela and wife Mary of Monessen, two daughters, Joan Langley of Carlisle, Amelia Bolias and husband Nick of Monessen, seven sisters, Minnie Bonie of Pittsburgh, Virginia Delegge of Monessen, Anita Friedl of Moon Twp., Pearl Kirk, Louise Marsilio, Eleanor McClellan, and Evelyn Genrone, all of Coraopolis, 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Steve Polinchak, a sister, Rose Skopinski, and two brothers Louis and Gerald Romasco.Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Wednesday Feb. 20, 2008, beginning with a 9:45 am prayer in the funeral home, followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Mass in Mary Mother of the Church, Charleroi.
