Mary Mosco, 86, of Lower Manhattan New York, died Tuesday, October 23, 2010 in New York City.She was born in Monessen on November 28, 1923, the daughter of the late Bernard and Rosalie (Eusanio) Mosco. Mary grew up in Monessen and was a 1941 graduate of Monessen High School. While living in Monessen, she was a member of St. Cajetan Roman Catholic Church. She moved to New York City pursuing her career as an entertainer. Mary became a professional singer and entertainer, and used the stage name of "Lorraine March". She appeared on numerous television shows in the New York area, and as a singer, recorded several songs.She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Yoland "Lani" and Pierre A. Luti of Monessen, four sisters-in-law, Peggy Mosco of Charleroi, Maria Mosco of San Diego, CA, Joann Mosco of Ironton, OH, and by several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers; Ben, Tony, and Adolph Mosco.Funeral services are private. Fr. David J. Nazimek officiated at her service, with entombment in the family mausoleum in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Service, Monessen.
