Mary (Cieply) Malezija, 92, of Monessen, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in Hallsworth House. She was born in Monessen on May 22, 1922, the daughter of the late Teofil Cieply and Anna Cheplee Cieply. Mrs. Malezija was a lifelong resident of Monessen and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union and the Croatian Home in Monessen. Mrs. Malezija was a loyal and passionate Greyhound fan. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Ronald Sarber of Monessen, her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Carole Malezija of Denver, CO, a brother and sister-in-law, Walter "Wooch" and Loretta Cieply of Monessen, three grandchildren, Marc (Alyssa) Malezija of Denver, CO, Ronald J. (Lisa) Sarber of Jefferson Hills, Merijo Rohrer of Monessen, four great grandchildren, Cameron and Brendon Sarber, Zoe Rohrer, Lucas and Addison Malezija, and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Malezija, three brothers, George, Joseph, and John Cieply, and by a sister Ann Andryc. Friends will be received on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church.
