Mary (Talarico) Gigliotti

Mary Gigliotti, 93, formerly of Monessen, died Thursday March 1, 2018 in Southwestern Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Shire Oaks, PA on May 16, 1924, the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Rose (Billinghieri) Talarico. Mrs. Gigliotti was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church and its Epiphany Ladies. She was also a member of Italian-American Heritage Society and was active at the Monessen Senior Center She is survived by her three sons; Frank "Chick" (Kathy) Gigliotti of Carroll Twp.; Rev. Vincent J. Gigliotti of Rostraver Twp., Ronald Gigliotti and partner Jake Sung of Pittsburgh, two grandsons; Keith (Erin) Gigliotti and Marc (Lisa) Gigliotti, two great grandsons Brody and Franco Gigliotti, and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Frank Gigliotti, a son James Gigliotti, and by her sister Angeline Talarico. Friends will be received in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, on Sunday, March 4, 2018, from 2 to 6 pm. Services will be held on Monday March 5, 2018, beginning with 10:15 Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 11:00 am Funeral Mass in The Church of St. Anne, 1870 Rostraver Road Rostraver Twp. with her son, Rev. Vincent J. Gigliotti officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen. The following services will be held Sunday March 4, 2018 in the funeral home:  Epiphany Ladies Prayer Service at 3:00 pm, Knights of Columbus Council 954 Prayer Service a 5:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org, or the charity of ones choice.
