Mary Jane Evans, 93, of Monessen, died Sunday, June 15, 2008 in Country Care Manor.She was born in Monessen on February 20, 1915, the daughter of the late Michael and Maria DeMaria Iacovangelo.Mrs. Evans was a resident of Monessen most all her life and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church, and the Sons of Italy. Years ago she worked as a clerk at the former Friedlands Clothing and Sears Store's in Monessen.She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Allen Seich of Belle Vernon, Marlene and Leonard Frankenberg of Harrisburg, her grandson, Scott Anniah Seich and wife Jenifer of Perryopolis, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Jennie and Michael Washchyshak of Charleroi, Rose Iacovangelo of Florida, and by numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Anniah "Chic" Evans, a sister, Antoinette Faraci, and by three brothers, Dominic, Michael, and Salvatore "Sam" Iacovangelo.Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Wednesday June 18, 2008, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
