Mary (Pizzo) Daniele, 99, of Monessen, died Saturday, October 22, 2011 in Victoria House III.She was born in Leetonia, OH on September 19, 1912, the daughter of the late Michael and Julia (Marotta) Pizzo. Mrs. Daniele was a resident of Monessen all her adult life, having worked at the former Murphy's 5 and 10 Store and later at The Keystone Bakery. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church and its Epiphany Ladies and a former member of the St. Cajetan Rosary Altar Society. Mrs. Daniele was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed the simple things of life, crocheting, knitting, sewing, doing crossword puzzles and being with her family.She is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Lia Petaccia and Angela Daniele, both of Monessen, Julie and William DeMichele of Danville, CA, a sister, Josephine D'Alfonso of Monessen, her grandchildren Anthony (Dena) Petaccia of Monessen, Danielle (Eric) Stecko of N. Huntingdon, Will DeMichele of Danville, CA, her great grandchildren, Hunter and Ty Stecko, Anthony A. and Evan Petaccia, and by numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father, Frank Zimmaro, husband Sinibaldo Daniele, five brothers, Albert Pizzo, Guido, Albert, Patsy, and James Zimmaro, and by two sisters, Carmella Orlandi and Theresa Vizza.Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 25th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R.
