Marietta Berardelli, 75, of Monessen, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 5, 2007 in Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh.She was born in San Mango D'Aquino, Italy on August 26, 1931, the daughter of the late Nicola and Angela Mucchino Vaccaro.Mrs. Berardelli was a resident of Monessen for the past 53 years, and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. She was also a member of the Italian-American Heritage Society, the Tuesday Night Bowlers, and the former St. Cajetan Christian Mothers.Marietta had a heart filled with innocence and love. She was a wonderful cook, enjoyed gardening, and loved to spend time with her family and friends. Her most treasured moments were spending time with her grandchildren.She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Mario Berardelli, a son, Paul Berardelli of Bridgeville, two daughters and a son-in-law, Angela Marisa Berardelli of Greensburg, Sandy and Carmen Dabiero of Greensboro, NC, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Pietro and Serafina Vaccaro of Monessen, Domenico and Lolita Vaccaro of Italy, a sister, Rosaria Manfredi of Italy, two grandchildren, C.J. Dabiero and Brianne Dabiero of Greensboro, NC, and by numerous nieces and nephews in Monessen, Toronto, and Italy who loved her very much.Friends will be received on Thursday from 1-4 and 7-9 PM in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home, Inc. 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Friday March 9, 2007, beginning with a 9:30 AM Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass in the Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church.
