Margaret M. (Billy) Radacsy, 87, of Monessen, died Friday, December 19, 2008 in Westmoreland Manor.She was born in Connellsville on September 8, 1921, the daughter of the late John and Mary Marcinek Billy.Mrs. Radacsy was a resident of Monessen all her adult life, a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord R.C. Church and a former member of the Most Holy Name of Jesus R. C. Church. Margaret was also a member of the Mon Valley Slovak Cultural Society, Jednota Lodge # 311, and a former member of the Slovak Home Ladies Auxiliary. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker, with a love for cooking and baking.She is survived by her five children, Thomas J. Jr. and Patricia Radacsy of Macomb, MI, James M. and Christine Radacsy of Detroit, MI, Ronald E. Radacsy of Monessen, Gerald J. and Janet Radacsy of Acme, PA, Roxane and Richard G. Gilman of Monessen, three grandchildren, Kathy Jaroslawski and husband Dennis of Macomb, MI., Lori Radacsy of Macomb, MI, Stacy Fletcher and husband Thomas of Sterling Heights, MI, a brother and two sisters-in-law, John F. and Madeline Billy of Monessen, and Madalyn (Beres) Billy of Monessen, and by numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas J. Radacsy in June of 2001, two sisters, Elizabeth Billy Gira and Mary Billy Yarina, four brothers, Alex (Sue) Billy, Joseph (Josephine) Bill, Andrew (Doris) Billy, and Frank Billy.Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Monday Dec. 22, 2008, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R.
