The family of Margaret Trenk Galilei, 79, of Monessen, announce the death of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, on Friday, January 12, 2007 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center.She was born in Washington Twp., on September 2, 1927, the daughter of the late Louis and Anna Tomaja Trenk. She grew up in Fairhope and was a 1945 graduate of Marion High School. Mrs. Galilei was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church, Italian-American Heritage Society, and the former St. Cajetan Christian Mothers, all of Monessen.She is survived by her husband of 59 1/2 years, Frank J. Galilei, three sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Debbie Galilei of Pittsburgh, Frank A. and Cheryl Galilei of Monessen, Roger and Karen Galilei of Bethel Park, eight beautiful loving grandchildren, Joshua, Rebecca, Frank G., Gina, Christa, Jessica, Christopher, and Lara, her great-granddaughter, Madison, her mother-in-law, Lena Galilei of Monessen, and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Louis, William, and Joseph Trenk, and by three sisters, Anna Trenk, Elizabeth Badock, and Ann Belsick.Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home, Inc. 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Monday Jan. 15, 2007, beginning with a 11:30 AM Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 12 Noon Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. Entombment will follow in Mon. Valley Memorial Park, Donora.In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 618 Knox Ave. Monessen, PA 15062.
