Louise M. (Wallace) Dudas, 84, of Monessen, died unexpectedly on Wednesday April 11, 2018 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born on August 20, 1933 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late William J. Wallace and Stella (Byrne) Wallace. Louise was a graduate of St. Rosalia Schools, attended Mt. Mercy College and was a graduate of Robert Morris Business School. She worked as a secretary for Sealtest Foods, P.P.G. Industries, and retired after 37 years with S.P.H.S. Inc. in 2011. Louise was an accomplished pianist and vocalist, and she was an avid skier belonging to both the Pittsburgh Ski Club and Triangle Ski Club. She was a member of the former Holy Name of Jesus Church where she served on the Parish Council, as Eucharistic Minister and Lector. Louise was an active member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church serving as Lector and Eucharistic Minister. She was a member of the Epiphany Ladies, the CD of A, and past member of the University Catholic Club. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John A. Dudas, a son, John A. (Leanne) Dudas Jr. of Norfolk, VA; daughter, Roberta (Randy) Dudas-Baker of Greensburg, four grandchildren, Colton and Katharine Baker, Galina and Jack Dudas; brother, Thomas E. (Helen) Wallace of Wayne, PA; sister, Mary Irene Wallace of Wilmington, DE; and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, William, Rev. Robert, Richard, and John Wallace. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will be held on Monday beginning with a 9:00 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd. Monessen, with Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Interment will follow in the Holy Name Cemetery, Monessen. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Monessen Historical Society, 505 Donner Ave. Monessen, PA 15062.
