Loretta B. Brandemarte, 83, formerly of Monessen, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. She was born in Monessen on August 20, 1931, the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Czopar Gladys. Mrs. Brandemarte was a resident of Monessen most of her life and a 1949 graduate of Monessen High School. She is survived by her three daughters, Paula Brandemarte Kichinko of Smithton, Becky (Rich) Lepley of Boswell, Mary Lynn (Jim) Brown of Pittsburgh, six grandchildren, Zachary, Brienne, Jessa, Roger, Nick, and James, three great grandchildren, Cooper, Grayson, and Dominic, nieces, nephews, and her life long friends, Dolores Bucci and Gloria Belczyk. She was preceded in death by her son Roger Brandemarte, her parents, brothers, and sisters. Loretta was a woman of strong faith who was in love with Jesus, and ministered to so many in need. She was an incredible cook and baker, and was by far the best pierogi maker in this area. Loretta was a wonderful mom, an adoring Baba, and a faithful friend. You will be missed, but our joy is in knowing that we will see you again. Friends will be received on Friday July 31, 2015 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in The Christian Center, 130 Charity Lane, Rostraver Twp.
