Leonard M. Domyancic, 93, of Monessen, died Tuesday February 11, 2020 at his home. He was born on April 16, 1926 in Monessen, the son of the late John and Helen (Bilicic) Domyancic. Leonard was a life long resident of Monessen and a 1944 graduate of Monessen High School. He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Monessen Plant, where he worked as a crane operator. He was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church, the Croatian Club, and Post 28 American Legion. He served his country during WW II with the U.S. Navy as a B-24 tail gunner. He is survived by his son, John (Jean) Domyancic of Naperville, IL; daughter-in-law, Linda Domyancic of Monroeville; four grandchildren, Matthew (Toni) Domyancic, Ryan (Natalie) Domyancic, Ben Domyancic, Quinn Domyancic; a great grandson, Michael Domyancic; and by nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Irene L. (Rendos) Domyancic, a son Leonard J. Domyancic, and a sister Amelia Belicheck. Friends will be received in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services 441 Reed Ave. Monessen, on Sunday from 5 pm to 8 pm and on Monday from 9 am to 10 am. Services will be held on Monday at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Name Cemetery, Monessen.
