Leonard M. Dominick Jr., 62, of Monessen, died Friday October 27, 2017 in Jefferson Hospital following a short illness. He was born on April 4, 1955 in North Charleroi, the son of the late Leonard M. Dominick Sr. and Ann (Stetz) Dominick. Lenny was a life long resident of Monessen and a 1973 graduate of Monessen High School. He had worked with his father for many years at Dominick's Fruit Market in Monessen and Monongahela. He went on to work as a loader for Arcelor Mittal at their coke plant in Monessen. Lenny was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church, was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, especially the Penguins. He enjoyed participating in online fantasy football leagues and keeping in touch with his many friends and family on social media. He is survived by his wife Colette M. (Pomocky) Dominick; two brothers, Ted (Diana) Dominick of California, PA, Richard Dominick of Monessen; his nieces and nephews, Kelli (Mike) Allen, Jenny (Scott) Smith, Dale (Staci) Dominick, Tim (Sara) Dominick; two brothers-in-law, Eric Pomocky and Kurt Pomocky; and by great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will be held on Thursday beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd. Monessen, with Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Interment will follow in the Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon, PA Condolences accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
