Kevin W. Koval, 61, of Monessen, died Thursday July 26, 2018 at his home.
He was born on September 22, 1956 in Brownsville, the son of the late George Koval and Edna (Blum) Koval Praskavich.
Kevin was a life long resident of Monessen and loved to work on computers. He had worked for Fox Computer in Donora and Hacker Shack in Monongahela. He also worked for the City of Monessen in the Street Department for a time. Kevin enjoyed spending time with his friends and going to yard sales and flee markets. One of his hobbies was building model planes and cars. His greatest love was and for his four birds, Rocky, Zeus, and two parakeets.
He is survived by a brother, George (Cheryl) Koval of Lake Oswego, OR; a sister, Diana (Jeffery) Eisel-Lester of New Eagle; half sister, Judy Portman of Fayette City; and by two half brothers, James Pendo of Virginia and Frank Pendo of Fairhope.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father Michael Praskavich and a half sister Donna Brant.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday August 18, 2018 in the New Alpine Club Restaurant, 1295 Grand Blvd. Monessen. He will be laid to rest in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
