Kathryn Caputo, 92, of Belle Vernon, fomerly of Monessen, died Monday, March 28, 2011 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.She was born in Monessen on June 30, 1918, the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Trappin) Parnella. Years ago Kathryn had worked as a seamstress for the former Brookvale Clothing Factory and as a presser for the former Monessen Laundry. She resided in Monessen most of her life before moving to the Belle Vernon High Rise. She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Louise Caputo of Goffstwon, NH, her granddaughter, Franchesca Bussiere of Goffstown, NH, two great grandchildren, Jordan and Isabella Bussiere, two sisters, Mary Koslasky of Fairhope and Rose Fillippone of Brownsville, and by numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John F. Caputo, two sons, John F. Caputo Jr. and Anthony Caputo, two brothers, Chris F. and Anthony Parnella, and by three sisters, Lena Roberts, Vincetta Romito, and Veta Mendola..Friends will be received on Friday April 1st from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011, beginning with a 8:45 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Mass in St. Sebastian R.
