Josephine P. Trozzo, 99, of Monessen, died Friday, October 10, 2008 in Victoria House III, Monessen.She was born in Mendincino, Italy on May 9, 1909, the daughter of the late Dominick and Theresa Pelegrini Trozzo. Mrs. Trozzo was a resident of Monessen most all her life and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. She was a former member of St. Cajetan Rosary Altar Society, and a member of the Italian Society of Mutual Aid. Mrs. Trozzo retired from Corning Glass with 34 years of service.She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Anthony M. " Chick" and Ruth Trozzo of Monessen, her daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and George Pavlo, with whom she made her home, her granddaughter, Nicki Lynn Baldini and husband Dino of Gibsonia, a great granddaughter, Francesca Baldini, and by numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Eugene Trozzo, a son Samuel L. Trozzo, a grandson Guy Trozzo, four brothers, Sam, Tony, Orlando, and Ralph Trozzo, and by three sisters, Rose Presto, Angeline Trozzo, and Ann Vitale.Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Monday Oct. 13, 2008, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R.
