Josephine E. Harvey, 90, of Greensburg, (formerly of Monessen and Ruffs Dale), passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024 in Independence Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born on January 14, 1934 in Monessen, the daughter of the late Anthony F. and Angeline (Reda) Mandarino. She was a 1951 graduate of Monessen High School and served as class secretary. She was also a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church, Epiphany Ladies, the Former St. Cajetan Rosary Altar Society, Past President of the former Catholic Business and Professional Women, Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court 776, National Red Hats Society, the Happy Hatters of Candlelight Estates. She enjoyed painting and was a member of Laurel Art Club and Greensburg Art Center. She worked for many years at Stern's Furniture, Zilka Flour Company and also was a realtor associate at the Mon Valley Real Estate in Monessen. She is survived by her son, John W. (Cindy) Harvey of Ruffs Dale; daughter, JoAnne (Mark) Barclay of Herminie; three granddaughters, April (Rob) Rak of Pleasant Unity, Melissa (Jacob) Blystone of Greensburg, Bridgette Barclay of Crafton; grandson, Mitchell (Whitney) Barclay of Greensburg; four great grandchildren Lily Rak, Alice Barclay, Riley Blystone and Brooklynn Blystone; sister, Betty L. Manderino of Hunker (formerly of Monessen). In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband William E. Harvey; Brother, Louis L. Manderino, Brother, James J. Manderino, Brother, Robert Mandarino, sister, Mary Bongiorno. Friends will be received on Sunday December 22, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will begin on Monday December 23, 2024 at the funeral home at 9:30 am with a blessing service, followed by a Mass at the Epiphany of Our Lord Church at 10:00 am with Fr. Michael Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Condolences are being accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Greensburg Art Center, 230 Todd School Road Greensburg, PA 15601. The Epiphany Ladies and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas will conduct a combined service at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
