Joseph "JoJo" Anthony Salvino, 34, of Monessen, died Saturday, October 22, 2011 due to injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.He was born in Pittsburgh on November 10, 1976, the son of Anita Reda and Joseph J. (Toni Lynn) Salvino of Monessen. JoJo was employed as a prison guard at the Westmoreland County Prison. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working at the prison, and lived to be with his son Joey. He was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church, Italian Society of Mutual Aid and the Firemen's Club No. 1., all in Monessen.In addition to his parents and his son Joey, he is survived by his sister, Brianna Salvino and brother C.J. Salvino, both of Monessen, step children, Stephen and Alexcia Matinsky, maternal grandparents, Anthony and Antoinette Reda of Monessen, paternal grandparents, Joseph and Betty Salvino of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, step sister and brothers, Jessa, Roger, and Nicholas Brandemarte of Monessen, aunts, Patty (Craig) Bucci, Connie (Jeff) Francia, Bernie (Fred) Naccarato, and by numerous cousins.Friends will be received on Monday from 6 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R.
