John J. Radacsy III, 66, of Mars, formerly of Monessen, died Sunday, November 24, 2013 in U.P.M.C. Passavant Hospital.
He was born in N. Charleroi, on August 18, 1947, the son of the late John Joseph Radacsy Jr. and Grace Patricia DiBacco. John was a 1965 graduate of Monessen High School and a 1969 graduate of Duquesne University, having received a degree in accounting. He attained his Fifth Executive Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Pittsburgh. John had worked for Price Waterhouse, Bidwell Corporation, Cigna, and later had his own Financial Planning business.
He was a member of Northway Christian Community Church in Wexford, Who's Who in American Business and Finance, and the Marine Corps League. John served his country during the Vietnam War with the U.S. Marine Corps.
He is survived by wife, Adele Romasco Radacsy of Pittsburgh, a son and daughter-in-law, John J. and Cindi Radacsy of Watertown, Wisconsin, a daughter, Kristin M. Radacsy of Pittsburgh, a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Jack Kuehn of Gibsonia, and by two grandsons, Daniel and Andrew Radacsy.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate John's life during a memorial service, conducted by Pastor Kent Chevalier, to be held on Saturday Dec. 7, 2013 at 12 noon, in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave. Monessen
