Jean M. Stark, 87, of Monessen, died Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Family Hospice and Palliative Care, Pittsburgh.
She was born in North Charleroi on July 14, 1929, a daughter of the late John and Teresa Altemare Dodaro.
Jean worked for the former G.C. Murphy and Continental Catering. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R.C. Church in Monessen, where she was active in the Christian Mothers. She enjoyed dancing, frequenting Eat'n Park in Belle Vernon and loved spending time with her grandsons and great grandson.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert J. (Cathy) Stark of Monessen; grandsons, Jonathan R. Stark and fiancé, Kirstie Bruno and Brandon M. Stark; great grandson, Barrett B. H. Stark; and niece, Paula Kowell of Monessen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stark, III; brother, J. Pat Dodaro; and sister, Evelyn Kowell.
Friends will be received in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. & Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen (724-684-8750) on Saturday, August 13 from 9 to10:30 a.m. at which time a Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Epiphany of Our Lord R.C. Church, 618 Knox Avenue, Monessen. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
