Jack R Sparacino, 80, formerly of Monessen, died Saturday, February 25, 2012 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.He was born in Monessen on March 4, 1931, the son of the late Salvatore and Rosalie Cefalu Sparacino. Jack grew up in Monessen and was a 1949 graduate of Monessen High School. He received his bachelors degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and was a graduate of Duquesne Law School. Mr. Sparacino was a public defender for Westmoreland County and had a private law practice in North Belle Vernon. He served with the U.S. Navy in peacetime and was a member of Monessen Lions Club and the Epiphany Bowling League.He is survived by his three daughters, Tara Sparacino and Brad Wulfkuhle of Pittsburgh, Tiffany Sparacino of Tampa, FL, Gina Sparacino and Greg Clumpner of Pittsburgh, a sister and brother-in-law, Mickalina and Wilbur Harris of Monessen, and by a large and loving family.Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 10:00 am in the funeral home, with Fr. David J. Nazimek officiating. Entombment will follow in Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum, Monessen.The following services will be held on Tuesday evening in the funeral home; Monessen Lions Club at 6:30 pm, and the Mid Mon.
