Irene A. (Selelo) Sarran

Irene A. Sarran, 94, of North Charleroi, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 in Southwestern Nursing and Rehab Center, West Mifflin with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 9, 1928 in Monessen, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Macyda) Selelo. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Charleroi, Monessen High School Class of 1946, and North Charleroi French Club. She loved going to bingos, the casino, and playing cards. She worked at Corning Glass as a packer for 17 years. Surviving are her daughter, Deborah (Thomas) Lender of Monessen; son, Richard (Sally Jo) Sarran of Rochester, MN; three granddaughters, Jamie (James Scirotto) Lender of Rostraver Twp., Kristie (Julio) Pampena of Glenshaw, Mikaela Sarran of Rochester, MN; grandson, Rick (Codi) Sarran of Duluth, MN; great grandchildren, Julia and A.J. Pampena; sister, Mary Bell of Grand Rapids, MI. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Sarran. Friends will be received on Friday, March 10th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will follow beginning at 11:00 am, with Pastor Randall Ord officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
