Helen I. Maisano, 79, of Monessen, died unexpectedly on Monday, April 2, 2012 in the Emergency Room of Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.She was born in N. Charleroi on April 4, 1932, the daughter of the late Theodore and Anna Pierce Feevey. Helen grew up in Charleroi and was a 1950 graduate of Charleroi High School. She worked at the former Thrift Drug Store in Monessen and the former Hills Department Store in Rostraver Twp. She has resided in Monessen for the past 56 years, and was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. Helen took great joy in spending time with her grandchildren, and will be missed by her loving family. She is survived by her husband, Eugene F. Maisano, two sons; Jerry (Barb) Maisano and Mark Maisano, all of Monongahela, four daughters; Pamela Maisano and Chris Marchant of Erie, Jayne (Leo) McKeown of Port Carbon, PA, Lisa (Mark) Tabacca of Monessen, Beth Crayton of Monessen, nine grandchildren; Heather Maisano, Frank Maisano, Jennifer (Joseph) Doran, David (Sarah) McKeown, Sean McKeown, Rebecca Tabacca, Ryan and Morgan Groves, Isabella Billion-Maisano, great grandchildren, Jack Doran and Kai Black, two sisters, Dorothy Moyer of Beallsville, Charlotte Tyson of Delaware, PA, two half brothers, William (Lorena) Feevey of Charleroi, Lawrence (Marge) Feevey of Zelienople, and by numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, Harry and Charlotte Feevey, and by a brother, Charles Feevey.The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750). Services will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2012, at 12 noon in the funeral home, with Fr. Michael Crookston officiating.
