Giustino J. "Gust" Ostetrico, 80, of Monongahela, died Monday, March 17, 2008. He was born in Monessen on November 13, 1927, the son of the late Giulio and Philomena Mosco Ostetrico.Mr. Ostetrico was a life long resident of the Mon Valley, and a member of Mary Mother of the Church in Charleroi, where he served as an usher. He was a member of the United Steelworkers of America, Local 1229, having served as recording secretary, and a member of the Charleroi Elks. He was retired from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp., having worked in the B.O.F. He was a veteran of WW II , having served with the U.S. Army.He is survived by his wfe of 54 years, Patricia O'Toole Ostetrico, two sons and daughters-in-law, Julius and Darlene Ostetrico of Charleroi, Kevin and Jill Ostetrico of Belle Vernon, a daughter, Sharon Ostetrico and fiance' Arnold Linderman of Monessen, a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Debbie Ostetrico of Rostraver Twp., a sister, Gloria Jean Astle of Monessen, six grandchildren, Bobby (Nicki) Valentine of Donora, David Valentine of Charleroi, Tara Kamp of Belle Vernon, Justin (Amy) Nash of Belle Vernon, Leigh Ann (Dax) Kelly of Monongahela, Jimmy (Monica) Nash of Mt. Lebanon, six great grandchildren, Dax Jr., Mallory, Alex, Jimmy, Hannah, and Chaz, four sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and by several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, James K. Nash.Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc., 441 Reed Avenue Monessen,(724-684-8750).Services will be held on Friday March 21, 2008, beginning with a 10:00 am prayer in the funeral home, followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Service in Mary Mother of the Church.
