Giuseppina (Caruso) Rettura, 86, of Monessen, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 in U.P.M.C. Mercy of Pittsburgh.She was born in Nicastro, Italy on December 17, 1923, the daughter of the late Luigi and Maria (Perri) Caruso. Mrs. Rettura was a resident of Monessen since 1952 and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church and the former St. Cajetan Christian Mothers. For Mrs. Rettura, her family was her life, and she will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with them.She is survived by her four children, Guy Rettura and wife Cecilia of Bethel Park, Angela Scalzo and husband Vincent of Monessen, Louis Rettura and wife Elizabeth of Bethel Park, Joseph Rettura and wife Joyce of Armburst, eight grandchildren and by two great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Giuseppe Rettura, and by two brothers, Tomaso and Francesco Caruso.Friends will be received on Thursday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Friday, April 30, 2010, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R.
