Geraldine M. Molinatto, 91, of Monessen, formerly of North Belle Vernon, died Thursday, June 18, 2015 in Hallsworth House, Monessen. She was born in Stockdale on July 2, 1923, the daughter of the late Angelo and Freda Venneri Molinatto. Geraldine grew up in Stockdale and graduated from Charleroi High School. She was a former member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church and more recently attended Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church in Monessen. She retired from Corning Glass having worked in the office as a switch board operator. Geraldine enjoyed playing cards with her card club and was a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul Store in Monessen. She loved to go to The Meadows, Wheeling Downs, and Atlantic City with her friends. Zia is survived by her niece, Barbara (Ron) Nutt of Monessen, a great nephew, Anthony Argirakis of South Park, numerous cousins including Bob Cosner who visited her regularly, and by her furry friends, Ace and Capone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, John and Aggie Molinatto and her uncle William Venneri, who resided with her for many years. Friends will be received on Sunday from 5 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave. Monessen. Services will be held on Monday, June 22, 2015, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church.
