Genevia Carozza, 84, of Monessen, died Sunday, December 7, 2008 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.She was born in Palena, Italy on February 11, 1924, the daughter of the late Guseppi and Rose Picone. Mrs. Carozza has been a resident of Monessen since 1958, and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting.She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Pietro Carozza, a son, Camillo Carozza of Speers, two daughters, Antionette Ezzo and Josephine Carozza, both of Monessen, a sister, Teresa Vincenzo of France, two grandchildren, Jerome Frankie and Tina Frankie, two great grandchildren, Dayne Frankie and Monique Minniti, and by nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Como.Friends will be received on Tuesday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Wednesday Dec. 10, 2008 at 12:00 noon in the funeral home, with Fr.
