Frank B. Arnoldi, 91, of Monessen, died Saturday, May 9, 2009 in Victoria House III, Monessen.He was born in Monessen on November 13, 1917, the son of the late Bernardo and Louisa Losco Arnoldi. Frank was a life long resident of Monessen, and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. He was also a member of the Ukranian Club in Monessen, American Rusin Club in Donora, and a former member of the Monessen Lions Club.. He was retired brick layer, having worked at the former Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Following his retirement, he worked as a custodian at the former St. Cajetan R. C. Church, and then the Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. Frank's love was gardening, and he enjoyed his sports, including boxing, baseball, and Steeler football. He also coached Pony League Baseball in Monessen in the 1950's.He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Bernard and Phyllis Arnoldi of Edinburgh, VA, Ronald and Kathy Arnoldi of Houston, TX, two daughters and sons-in-law, Louise and Curtis S. Toth of Belle Vernon (Fairhope), Cheryl and Frank Austin of Louisville, KY, two sisters, Mary Vernet and Adeline Koneffko of Monessen, a brother, Fred Arnoldi of Butler, ten grandchildren, Christine, Diane, Wayne, Gayle, Jason, Bernard, Jennifer, Ryan, Justin, and Mark, nine great grandchildren, and by several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie Stancato Arnoldi in 1977, an infant brother, and by a brother and sister, Cecil Arnoldi and Julieta Contine.Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Wednesday May 13, 2009, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R.
