Frances Turkovich

Frances C. Turkovich, 61, of Monessen, died Saturday Dec. 19, 2020 in Mon Valley Care Center. She was born on January 14, 1959 in North Charleroi, a daughter of the late John A. and Mary (Cocca) Turkovich Sr. She was a life long resident of Monessen and was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church. Frances had worked at Monongahela Valley Hospital for 30 plus years. She was an avid baker, cook, and die-hard Steelers, Penquins, and Pirates fan. Frances touched many lives throughout the years and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be sorely missed by all. Surviving are her loving aunt, Rita Cocca of Monessen; three brothers, Anthony and wife Peggy Turkovich of Hunker, Michael and his wife Brenda Turkovich of Madison, Donald and his wife Michelle Turkovich of Dunlevy; four sisters, Darlene and her husband Dennis Hackinson of Monessen, Sherri and her husband Bernie Fertall of Monessen, Susan Turkovich and Mary Marsden of Monessen; sister-in-law, Linda (Dolan) Turkovich of Monessen; God daughter, Mary Ann Hackinson; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John A. "Butchie" Turkovich, her nephew Chad Fertall, and her brother-in-law, Bill Marsden. A private family viewing was held in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen, followed by a Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church with Rev.
