Forrest F."Fotey" Loulis, 91, of Monessen, died Saturday, March 15, 2008 in Reston Hospital, Reston, VA.He was born in Monessen on August 30, 1916, the son of the late George and Xenia (Petz) Loulis.Mr. Loulis was a life long resident of Monessen and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. He was also a member of the Rostraver Sportsman Association, having served as Corresponding Secretary; American Legion Post 659 of Belle Vernon; U.D.T. Museum, member and past president of M.A.R.S., life member of : Monessen Elks 773, Sons of Italy, Salvage Divers of America, and Disabled American Veterans.He was retired from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp, having worked as a engineer in the water works pumphouse.He was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War, having served as a diver with the U.S. Army.He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, George and Carol Loulis, of Reston, VA., a brother and sister-in-law, George John and Cassy Loulis of Perry Twp., four grandchildren, Kimberly Kohler, Kevin Fitzpatrick, Gregory L. and David Loulis, two great grandchildren, Alexis and Nicholas Kohler, and by nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Rose "Lee" D'Annabale Loulis, a daughter, Del Forrest "Petunia" Loulis, two brothers, Socartes and Steve Loulis, and three sisters, Annie and Dorothy Loulis, and Mary Pastor.Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc., 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Wednesday March 19, 2008, beginning with a 11:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 12 noon Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R.
