Flora C. DiBartolomeo, 86, of Monessen, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.She was born in Catherine Twp., PA on August 4, 1921, the daughter of the late Giovanni and Assunta Ferrante. Mrs. DiBartolomeo grew up in the Ellwood City area and has been a resident of Monessen since 1945. She had worked as a seamstress at the former Magura's Clothing Factory in Monessen, and was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ermand "Sonny" and Rhonda DiBartolomeo Jr. of Monessen, Renaldo "Renny" and Lois DiBartolomeo of Rostraver Twp., two sisters, Lillian Evans and Mary Greco, both of Ellwood City, three grandchildren, Michael, John David, and Dawn Marie DiBartolomeo, two great-grandchildren, John David Jr. and Brennen, a brother-in-law, Carmen Dattilo and wife Rita of Ellwood City, three sisters-in-law, Ethel Aquino and husband Frank of Ellwood City, Elizabeth Pennline of Monessen, Mafalda August and husband Gus of Monessen, and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ermand DiBartolomeo Sr., infant son John, three sisters, infant Mary Ferante, Rosemary (Dolly) Dattilo, Helen Cartwright, and a brother Jack Ferrante.Friends will be received on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm, and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home, Inc. 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Saturday Sept. 22, 2007, beginning with a 11:00 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 11:30 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
