Emma J. (Reda) Hoosac, 82, of Monongahela, formerly of Monessen, died Monday, June 4, 2007 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.She was born in Monessen on October 10, 1924, the daughter of the late Eugene and Concetta Greco Reda.Mrs. Hoosac lived in Monessen most of her life before moving to Monongahela. She was a graduate of Monessen High School and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. She was an avid bowler having belonged to many bowling leagues over the years. She is survived by her daughter, Shelly Bedsworth and loving friend Mark F. McManus of Rostraver Twp., a son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Cyndi Hoosac of Washington Twp., a brother and sister-in-law, Anthony "Tot" and Antoinette Reda of Monessen, a granddaughter, Bethany A. Bedsworth of Elizabeth, and by numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore F. Hoosac in 1993, and two brothers, Joseph and Ralph Reda.Friends will be received on Tuesday June 5, 2007 from 6 to 9 PM in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home, Inc. 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, beginning with a 9:30 Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. Entombment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
