Elizabeth "Lisa" Mildred Pennline, 95, of Monessen, passed away on Saturday March 31, 2018 in The Residence at Hilltop. She was born on January 30, 1923 in Monessen, the daughter of the late Sabatino DiBartolomeo and Maria (Duronio) Mancini. Elizabeth was a lifelong resident of Monessen and a 1940 graduate of Monessen High School. After high school, she completed cosmetology education and worked as a beautician. She also worked at the Twin Coaches and the New Alpine Club as a hostess and waitress. She was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Church and had bowled with St. Cajetan Bowling League. She is survived by her two sons, James A. (Brenda) Pennline of Strongsville, OH, Kenneth J. (Sherry) Pennline of Franklin, TN; four grandchildren, Brent Pennline of Strongsville, OH, Sean (Claire) Pennline of Mountainview, CA, Jamie (Fred) Tatum of Bellbrook, OH, Lauren Pennline of Knoxville, TN; four great grandchildren, Laura, Fred III, Luca, and Serafina, a brother-in-law, Gus August, a sister-in-law, Adina Mancini of Monessen; and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Anthony "Tony" Pennline, two brothers, Ermand DiBartolomeo Sr., Joseph A. Mancini, four sisters, Ella Salotti, Genevieve DiMatteo, Anna Mancini, Mafalda August, a niece Gloria Salotti Dawson, and a nephew, Norman DiMatteo. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will be held on Thursday beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd. Monessen, with Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Entombment will follow in the Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum, Monessen.
