Edmund A. Masci Jr.

Edmund A. Masci Jr., 68, of Monessen, passed away from natural causes on Saturday January 8, 2022 in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. He was born on October 28, 1953 in North Charleroi, the son of the late Edmund A. Masci Sr. and Mildred (Tweardy) Masci. Eddie graduated from Monessen High School in 1971 where he played varsity basketball. He worked at the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and later was employed as a Pari-Mutual Clerk at the Meadows Race Track in Washington. He was a member of the Belgium Club in N. Charleroi and a former member of the Eagles Aerie 2399, Elks 773, ISMA, French Club, and Hilltop Firemen's Club all in Monessen. He is survived by a sister, Linda (Mark) Okeefe of Mechanicsburg, PA; a brother, Mark Masci of Monessen; nephew Bryan (Haven) O'Keefe of Washington, DC; niece Ashley (Andy) Maurer; great-niece Alivia Grace Maurer and great-nephew Drew Maurer all of Harrisburg; uncle Lawrence Masci and aunt Loretta DiBiaso, both of Monessen, and by several cousins. Friends will be received in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen, on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm followed by a Blessing Service with Fr. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Inurnment will be in Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum, Monessen. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Research Hospital (stjude.org).
