Edith Edna McCullough, 72, of Monessen, died Sunday, January 11, 2009 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.She was born in Marianna on August 2, 1936, the daughter of the late Jonas Oliver Caton and the late Minerva E. (Whetzel) Caton. Edith was a resident of the Mon Valley area most all her life, and was employed at Santoni's Restaurant in Charleroi as head cook for many years.She is survived by her six children, Edith Esther McCullough and Darlene Rodden, both of Monessen, Patricia Tenant and husband Bernie of Charleroi, Robert Thomas and wife Carrie of Monessen, Danny Robb and wife Susan, of Manassas, VA, William McCullough Jr. and wife Marcie of Palm Beach, FL, her sister, Freda Walls of Brookvale, PA, twelve grandchildren, a step grandchild, and by nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, William Frances McCullough Sr., a daughter, Rita Porter, and by five brothers and two sisters.Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Wednesday Jan. 14, 2009, at 10:00 am in the funeral home, with Pastor Frank A.
